Juan G. Ruiz, M.D. Med.Sci. has recently joined (October 2015) the Department of Medical and Population Health Sciences Research at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine where he is Associate Professor. In his role, Dr. Ruiz teaches medical students and coordinates the division of Faculty Development, in relation to clinical and epidemiological research.

Tanya Cohn, PhD., M.Ed., R.N. is a Nurse Scientist supporting West Kendall Baptist Hospital through the development and dissertation of research. Her personal research focus is on community health, best practices in clinical care, and cultural adaption of assessment tools.

Dawn Prospect, M.H.S.A., C.H.R.C., C.I.P. is the Research Compliance Administrator for Baptist Health, with responsibility for ensuring research being conducted at the organization is compliant with applicable rules and regulations. She began her career at Baptist Health in 2012 after spending six years with the Institutional Review Board at the University of Miami. She holds a Master's Degree in health services administration from Florida International University and is certified in healthcare research compliance and is a certified IRB professional.

Julie Lamoureux, D.M.D., M.S.C. is the Manager of Statistical Analysis and Data at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. She is involved as a statistician in nursing research, performance improvement projects and community initiatives with Health West Kendall. She has more than fifteen years of experience collaborating on clinical research projects.

Allison Blivin-Martinez, P.M.P. is a certified Grant Manager and a certified Project Manager with more than 25 years of experience in grant and research administration. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Science from Johns Hopkins University in research administration.

Carrie Figueredo, M.L.I.S. joined Baptist Health in June 2013 as part of the Center for Research & Grants Library & Knowledge Services team. She is the system administrator for Baptist Health's institutional repository and online showcase of scholarly publications, Scholarly Commons.
