2004 marks the 25th annual Author! Author! day. Author! Author! is an event where the library, during National Library Week, honors the publications of hospital staff at Baptist Health. In 2004 the library received a grant to purchase a scanner, which was used to scan articles to send to patrons as a PDF through email. A big update in 2004, UpToDate became available on the Intranet via the Medical Library. This boosted the online collection which sat at over 50 e-books and over 300 e-journals.
