In 1994, the library worked on educating the Baptist community on the "information highway" also called the internet. In the Library Letter: learn about E-Mail, remote login with Telnet, and transferring files with FTP. The Internet was not available system wide at this point. Instead the library would help users get their own computers hooked up using "gateways," and telephone lines. This year the estate of Dr. Marvin "Bud" Jaffee gifted a set of "Classics in Medicine" which includes 58 titles from landmark medical publications.
