In 2005, article delivery switched from printed to E-Delivery. The switch to sending article requests as PDF attachments in e-mails decreased the average turnaround time from seven days down to one day. At South Miami and Baptist Hospital libraries there was a new laptop docking station for Baptist staff. Staff could find a quiet place to work on their laptops on the network, or use a public access PC. In 2005, the database Health Business Elite was added to the Electronic Library section of the intranet site. Additionally, in fall of 2004, the library's own Devica Samsundar was awarded Corporate Employee of the Quarter.
