In 2001 e-books, palm pilots, and science fiction found its way into the Library Letter. Brad Aiken MD, the Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services published his first science fiction novel Starscape: the Silver Bullet electronically. Diana Rourke, Director of BHS Library Services offered a presentation on tips for evaluating PDA's (personal digital assistants). Additionally, the library offered classes on patient education, and Evidence Based resources. Finally, the library, medical education committees, and the information technology department collaborated to bring e-books to the library.
