In the year 2000, South Miami Hospital Library received a facelift. It offered a place for employees at Baptist to read, take a break, or work on papers and presentations. The library subscribed to OVID and EBSCO, increasing access to 80 online journals. Additionally, the library held a series of trainings for staff on using its services.
