In 1999 the library focused on bringing Evidence Based Health Care to Baptist staff. Diane Rourke BHS Medical Librarian and Dr. Andrew Egol hosted a presentation on finding EBP research in the literature and on the internet. The South Miami Hospital in the Victor Clarke Education Center was dedicated to the Marmot Foundation, acknowledging a decade of support, as well as a section of the library being named for Dr. Jose Ramon de Amezola Neuroscience Center.
